We are working on how our projects accommodate people with disabilities. For example, we created Sphero mini golf. It accommodates people who may have hearing loss by relying on visuals to tell the player if they got a hole in one. We carefully placed flags in front of each hole to put your attention on the location of the hole. We are most proud of the fact that it is a fun game that does not require the player to walk around. They can stay in one spot and control the Sphero. This helps people who have limited mobility because they can play whether they are in a wheelchair or not. You should come try Sphero mini golf. It is a very fun game!
This blog is written for students by students. Our weekly blogger is responsible for the blog posts, which are then edited by our proof reader. We hope you enjoy reading about our experiences in 4th grade Technology!
